These industrial mantel shelf brackets are guaranteed to make a statement in your home.
Crafted from locally sourced heavy-duty steel, our rustic raw steel shelf bracket features a 4” high lip, ideal for mantels or thicker shelves. Measuring 4 inches wide, it incorporates our trademark slightly concave support bracket for an added touch of style. The beauty of raw steel paired with a rustic wood plank is truly captivating.
When placing your order, remember that the first dimension represents the depth, while the second dimension is the wall mount leg. For example, a 6x10 bracket has a 6" depth (shelf) x 10" wall mount leg. The standard 4" lip adds charm, but custom lip/size options are available upon request.
Each bracket is meticulously made to order from 1/4" thick steel, complete with pre-drilled 1/4" holes. The raw, unfinished black/grey steel offers a rustic modern aesthetic, but alternative finishing styles are at your disposal. Care instructions are provided below.
- Price is for ONE bracket only; wood mantel not included.

Our Manufacturing Process:
Every piece is made to order, starting with raw steel purchased from local mills in Syracuse & Utica, NY. Although we use the same grade of hot rolled steel, each batch can vary in appearance. After cutting and deburring, we mark, drill, and bend the steel. If support bars are involved, they're finished in our welding area.
Before leaving the shop, we thoroughly inspect each bracket for oxidation or rust, removing any using scotch brite pads or steel wool.
Caring for Your Brackets:
Metal naturally oxidizes over time. If you leave the steel raw, use a dry scotch brite pad or steel wool to address visible rust. Some customers paint our products with rust-protecting paint or use beeswax to prevent rusting.

We always recommend mounting our brackets into studs. Especially if you plan to put anything heavy on your shelves. If you can't hit a stud, you can use drywall anchors. However, in that case I would be careful on how much weight you put on the shelf.
*When mounting brackets with support bars, we suggest using a hex head screw and wrench to secure. You can put the screw into the bracket and walk it into the wall.

Over time, most metal will oxidize or "rust". The rate at which this happens varies and depends on the environment and level of humidity.
Since our customers preferences varies, if you choose to leave the steel raw, we recommend using a dry scotch brite pad or steel wool to remove any visible "rust" as it occurs.
Some customers paint our products with rust protecting paint, like Rustoleum, or they use beeswax to coat the metal to help prevent "rusting".
We also offer clear coat as an option to help protect the metal before it leaves our shop!
If you are not satisfied, or have ordered the wrong size you may return the bracket(s) within 14 days of delivery for a partial refund equal to the total payment minus a restocking fee.

Since we never know what material our clients are mounting our products on, we would hate to send out the wrong screw type/length needed.
We are happy to give you suggestions, however we always recommend consulting a professional installer if you are unsure how to mount them or if they are installed correctly.
