When placing your order, please note that the first dimension represents the depth, while the second dimension corresponds to the wall mount leg. For example, a 6x10 bracket has a 6 depth (shelf) and a 10 wall mount leg. Our stunning rustic raw steel shelf bracket features a 4 high lip, making it ideal for use as a mantle or for a thicker shelf.
This heavy-duty bracket is handcrafted using locally sourced, high-quality steel. Measuring 4 inches wide with our signature, slightly concave support bracket, it offers a touch of style to any space. We absolutely adore the raw steel look when paired with a rustic wood plank. Each bracket is made to order from 1/4 thick steel and comes pre-drilled with 1/4 holes. The raw steel finish gives it a rustic modern appearance in black/grey. However, if you prefer a different finish, we offer various options for you to choose from.
Please note that additional time (approximately one week) is required for powder coating. For care instructions, please see below:
- Price is for ONE bracket only; wood mantel is not included.
- Brackets are shipped with the finish you select. Please allow an extra week for powder coating. Bare/raw steel is uncoated.

- Each bracket is 4 wide with a 4 lip and available in 8 different sizes (Please note that the depth of the bracket is bent ~ 1/8 over the size ordered. This allows for a perfect fit for your mantel).

Here at Industrial Farm Co., we take pride in our craftsmanship. Every bracket we create is made to order, starting with raw steel sourced from local mills in Syracuse & Utica, NY.
Please note that due to the nature of the steel, each batch can vary in color, scale, scratches, and other visible imperfections. The steel is carefully cut to the required lengths using our band saw and thoroughly deburred to ensure smooth edges. After marking and drilling the steel, we bend it to shape. If the brackets/corbels have a support bar, they are then finished in our welding area. Before leaving the shop, we meticulously inspect each bracket for any visible oxidation or rust. If any is found, it is promptly removed using a scotch brite pad or steel wool before shipping.
Please keep in mind that over time, most metal will naturally oxidize or rust to some extent. The rate at which this occurs can vary based on environmental factors and humidity levels. If you choose to keep the steel raw, we recommend using a dry scotch brite pad or steel wool to remove any visible rust as needed. Some customers prefer to protect our products by painting them with rust-protecting paint, such as Rustoleum, or applying beeswax to prevent rusting.

What is the best way to mount our brackets?
We always recommend mounting our brackets into studs. Especially if you plan to put anything heavy on your shelves. If you can't hit a stud, you can use drywall anchors. However, in that case I would be careful on how much weight you put on the shelf.
*When mounting brackets with support bars, we suggest using a hex head screw and wrench to secure. You can put the screw into the bracket and walk it into the wall.

Care instructions
Over time, most metal will oxidize or "rust". The rate at which this happens varies and depends on the environment and level of humidity.
Since our customers preferences varies, if you choose to leave the steel raw, we recommend using a dry scotch brite pad or steel wool to remove any visible "rust" as it occurs.
Some customers paint our products with rust protecting paint, like Rustoleum, or they use beeswax to coat the metal to help prevent "rusting".
We also offer clear coat as an option to help protect the metal before it leaves our shop!
Additional Return Info
If you are not satisfied, or have ordered the wrong size you may return the bracket(s) within 14 days of delivery for a partial refund equal to the total payment minus a restocking fee.
All returns and exchanges are subject to a restocking fee.
Restocking Fee:
For all returns of standard orders there is a 20% restocking fee.
Unfortunately we can not accept the return of ANY customized pieces.
Please include a completed return form with any return.
Failure to include the return form will result in your return not being accepted or refunded.
All refunds will be made after returned items are received. Cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Do you supply mounting hardware for your products?
Since we never know what material our clients are mounting our products on, we would hate to send out the wrong screw type/length needed.
We are happy to give you suggestions, however we always recommend consulting a professional installer if you are unsure how to mount them or if they are installed correctly.

Are the brackets sold in sets?
No, our brackets are not sold in sets, but we do expect that our clients will be purchasing more than one to support their shelf/mantel. Therefore any order that is for only one bracket must be confirmed that the client would only like one bracket within 3 days from the date of purchase or the order is subject to cancellation.
Can I change my shipping address after I have placed my order?
No, unfortunately the shipping system we use does not allow us to change your shipping address. Please triple check your information is correct when placing your order.
I purchased my items but now you have a sale... can that be applied to my order?
No, the sale price is only applied to orders that are placed when the sale is active.
